Something that has always intrigued me is the multiverse theory and the idea of parallel universes. It all started from my favorite video game series, kingdom hearts; where the main travels to different worlds saving them. I also take inspiration from Notans, which refers to the balance of light and dark, which is also a reoccurring theme throughout the kingdom hearts series.
In addition, I added 5 lines to resemble the underside of a snare drum because that is a hobby of mine. I also choose to use blue because it is a color commonly associated with my zodiac sign, Sagittarius.
I debated long and hard which blue to go with. I really wanted to go with a windows blue screen of death blue because that would be funny, but you can only get that in RBG and anytime I tried to print anything it looked dull. So I decided to choose a blue that I liked in CMYK. I also debated whether or not to pick out a Pantone color but after they recently pulled their color books from adobe to sell their own subscription service I have decided to boycott their monopolization on color.
Lastly, my version of “rick blck” is my birthday.
